First thing we did when we returned to S’pore was to get our hair cut by our usual hair stylist, Peter. He has opened his own salon (which is just one street away from the previous one he worked for at Serangoon Gardens) and has told us to visit him at his new shop when we get back.
Twist Hair Salon has a minimalistic decor, floor and wall are just cemented over. The grey combined with dark brown wood finishings and black leather (or perhaps it’s PVC) chairs make everything looks good.
We both had our hair trimmed and coloured. Peter suggested that I tried a new colour, violet with some brown highlights while D had his yellow mane more evenly coloured to get rid of the yellow and brown streaks.
And boy, did it take a long time. We were there from 1pm and left at 4.30pm. But I am happy with the results.
If you are thinking of visiting a new hair salon, you may want to give Twist Hair Salon (situated at Serangoon Gardens, opp. the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf outlet at Maju Rd) a try.
