Grand Theft Auto For Yuppies

This is for D and all those guys out there who are currently wasting spending their waking moments with the latest craze, Grand Theft Auto IV Liberty  City.

Eggs, Anyone?

While at Great Supermarket, Pacific Place, yesterday evening after tea with some friends, we saw these eggs for sale.

That would have been quite a lot of scrambled egg for this morning… heheh, but we didn’t get them lah. Compare the size of an OZtrich egg to a normal Cheeken one around it.

The price of an egg stopped us from putting one into our trolley, and eating one would have blown my egg quota for the week. 

Some Facts:
One ostrich egg is equivalent to about 2 dozen chicken eggs.
One ostrich egg contains about 2000 calories.
To make a hardboiled ostrich egg, it will take about 40 minutes.

Latte Art

This makes me miss my usual cuppa even more.

I don’t get to see such cool art in my coffee at the local Starbucks, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf outlets here. Maybe O’Brien’s, but it was a 4-leaf clover design every time. Don’t think the uncle or aunty at Ah Kun will do such a thing either. Gloria Jean’s… not quite sure, that will give me a good reason to have a latte just to check out any potential latte art.

Having TJ and giving him breastmilk means I have to watch what I eat and drink. Although I must admit, I do give in to my weakness once a while, as a treat. This coffee addict has kinda weaned herself off coffee, no major withdrawal syndrome, but yes, the occasional Black Gold smells and tastes heavenly.

The first time I saw the trailer, I couldn’t stop laughing.  

Doubt I will be able to catch it in the theatres, but I believe Boxsweeper will have it somehow.

The New “B” in Bee Movie :)

An ex-colleague had bought this outfit for TJ before he was born, actually, even before we knew if I was expecting a boy or a girl. She reckoned either gender will look good in it.

Well it is only today when TJ finally got the chance to wear it. That’s when my brother commented that TJ will fit in as one of the bees in the new animation movie “Bee Movie”.

Not that I am going to get the chance to watch the movie in the cinema… maybe wait till the dvd is released or on the Boxsweeper site (another recommendation by my bro).
