Umizaru & Umizaru 2 Limit Of Love

Last weekend while on our way to Mersing Jetty, we watched Umizaru (aka Sea Monkeys). It is a Jap movie (screened about 2 years ago), and is about a group of Japan Coast Guard trainees, their trials and tribulations during training under a very strict instructor, and a love story between the 2 leads. It was quite a fitting movie to watch in the Mercedes Van ‘cos there were quite a no. of diving scenes (leisure dives and training dives). Besides there was a student on the trip who was going to do her Rescue Diver scenarios at Pulau Dayang. I thought the movie was quite exciting, although I don’t understand Japanese and I couldn’t quite read the English subtitles ‘cos I was seated at the back of the van. Most importantly, the main actor, Hideaki Ito, is very cute.

Apparently the sequel has come out and my instructor-friend has arranged for us to watch Umizaru 2 Limit Of Love tonite, 11.15pm show @ the new Cathay (could it be the Picturehouse?!?). Looking forward to it, and the trailer (see below) indicates an even more explosive and exciting movie. And even more important is the fact that Hideaki is still in the sequel. Yeah
